AS Mundur dari 60 Lembaga Internasional, Ini Daftarnya

Ntvnews.id, Washington D.C - Presiden Amerika Serikat Donald Trump mengumumkan keputusan Washington untuk keluar dari puluhan lembaga internasional serta berbagai entitas di bawah Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB). Trump, seperti dilaporkan Independent, menilai lembaga-lembaga tersebut beroperasi bertentangan dengan kepentingan nasional AS.

Kebijakan tersebut mencakup penarikan AS dari 35 lembaga non-PBB dan 31 entitas PBB. Di antaranya termasuk lembaga yang berkaitan dengan perjanjian iklim serta badan PBB yang fokus pada promosi kesetaraan gender dan pemberdayaan perempuan.

Langkah tersebut melanjutkan sikap AS yang sebelumnya tidak menghadiri Konferensi Tingkat Tinggi (KTT) Iklim Internasional PBB tahun lalu, yang menjadi ketidakhadiran pertama AS dalam forum tersebut selama tiga dekade terakhir.

Gedung Putih menyatakan bahwa puluhan entitas yang ditinggalkan Washington dinilai mempromosikan kebijakan radikal terkait iklim, pemerintahan global, dan program ideologis yang bertentangan dengan kekuatan ekonomi dan kedaulatan AS.

"Penairikan akan menjadi akhir dari pembiayaan dari para pembayar pajak AS dan keterlibatan di dalam entitas-entitas yang mengedepankan agenda globalis di atas prioritas AS, atau mereka yang mememntikan isu-isu inefisien atau tidak efektif yang mana para pembayar pajak AS mengalokasikan dananya untuk mendukung misi-misi yang relevan," demikian keterangan Gedung Putih.
